Our friends at AT&T FirstNet are attending the APCO Conference in San Antonio this week and the new AT&T FirstNet Mobile Connectivity HUB (FMCH) is on full display. The FMCH is a mobile AT&T FirstNet cell site that slides into the receiver on most standard vehicles and is transported similar to a cargo carrier. It uses a LEO satellite backhaul to connect to the AT&T FirstNet network and then rebroadcasts the FirstNet signal out locally utilizing on board radios. It is powered by a portable generator with an extended run fuel tank and includes a 20 foot Fireco mast equipped with a Galtronics Band 14 Omni directional antenna. We are starting to ship these units out all over the country from our Ft Worth facility. For more information contact your local AT&T FirstNet representative or reach out to us at sales@ccscontact.net.

CCS has been delivering more MERC COW trailers to Charter Communications (Spectrum) with 10 of these being deployed to Wisconsin to assist in the tornado relief efforts. When storms and tornadoes take out the infrastructure it not only affects the power, but also the network connectivity. These trailers provide a very robust WiFi network allowing relief workers and residents to still have internet access for vital communications. Charter does a great deal of these for free to support the residents in their communities.

Much more info on these products in the coming months.
