CCS continues to install video wall board solutions for our customers. What started off as a “one-off” project for Texas Dept. of Public Safety to put a video wall in one of their larger command centers has now expanded into installing this technology into EOCs and Real Time Crime Centers. CCS Techs has recently completed additional video wall projects for TX DPS EOC, City of Mansfield, TX EOC, and we are currently working on the Johnson County, TX EOC.

New video wall board for City of Mansfield, TX EOC

CCS just completed the build out and delivery of a new drive away MERC mobile command center for Harris County Constable’s Office Precinct 5. Precinct 5 is led by Constable Ted Heap and is one of the largest constable departments in the country. Spanning an area over 300 square miles, it covers all of west Harris County and is home to more than 1 million residents. Almost 400 sworn deputies, with an additional 50 civilian support staff, now serve the residents of this precinct. Ted Heap became the constable in 2017 and has done a phenomenal job leading and growing this Precinct in one of the busiest areas of the State. Our primary contact on this project was Lt. Scott Forbes and he and his team were great to work with throughout the entire project. Bryan Rudel is the CCS representative for South Texas and he did a great job working with Scott and his team throughout the project. The unit was built on the chassis of a Freightliner M2 and it was equipped with an AVL 1.2 satellite system, Engine Power Source 20kw diesel generator, 30 foot Fireco pneumatic mast, Pepwave dual sim LTe router with AT&T FirstNet connectivity, conference room, video surveillance cameras, multiple work stations, land mobile radios, battery backup system, LED lighting, HVAC, and much much more. This unit will be used by the Precinct to help provide security for large public events, help in response to any man made or natural disasters, provide an onsite resource for any active shooter events, and even serve as a network backup to any facilities that may lose connectivity. Cliff Haynes our VP of Operations, Paul Aguero our Production Manager, and the entire CCS Production Team in Ft. Worth did a great job on this build out.

All of us at CCS want to thank the Precinct for their business and for all the hard work they put in every day to protect their community. Back the blue!!!
