Enjoyed getting to spend Friday morning with MD Anderson Cancer Center Police Dept. delivering and training them on two new solar MERC-V video surveillance trailers equipped with Motorola Avigilon cameras and a Victron Energy Management system. Bryan Rudel our CCS representative for South Texas has been working with their PD for a while as they developed a scope of work for this important project. These two units will help provide security at several of the MD Anderson locations in the Houston area. We truly appreciate their business and look forward to working with them on future projects!

CCS is also pleased to announce we have rolled out a new version of our PERC product line that incorporates a Starlink Mini directly into the kit. For those of you not familar with our PERC product line, PERC stands for Portable Emergency Response Center. Basically it is a mobile hot spot that is housed in a Pelican weather resistant case and includes a lithium battery bank, a Pepwave BR2 5g dual sim dual modem router with WiFi, a 4 port POE switch, an AC or DC power supply, a WAN input port, and a digital power meter. For this new PERC we have added the Starlink MINI to the faceplate and it is powered directly off the battery bank in the unit. By adding the Starlink Mini to the unit our customers will now be able to have network connectivity anywhere in the world. The PERC case is small and light enough to be carried in a medium to large backpack and can run for approximately 18 hours on a single charge.

CCS is also proud to announce that we were recently awarded a contract by the Texas Dept. of Emergency Management (TDEM) to provide 90 Intelsat LEO satellites with One Web satellite service for TDEM state vehicles. CCS worked with our partners with IP Access International and GTS to help the State outfit these vehicles with the latest in mobile communications technology. Texas is a large State and there are still many areas that do not have adequate LTE or 5g coverage and these new LEO satellites will help fill that communication void.

Much more on this project in the coming months!
