FirstNet®, LTE, and Multi-Network Connectivity
In addition to satellite communications, CCS equips MERC platforms to leverage public and private LTE and 5G networks, including FirstNet Band 14 for public safety agencies across the United States. Integrated LTE routers and signal extension systems allow the MERC to access available cellular networks and expand coverage when needed.
When available, FirstNet often provides high-performance bandwidth and low-latency connectivity, giving agencies a powerful alternative or complement to satellite communications. CCS engineers each network package to deliver the best available connectivity for the deployment environment.
